Bid for Funding for Health and Wellbeing

Somerset County Council Health and Wellbeing Board have made funds available for distribution via County Councillors.  County Councillor Cathy Bakewell has £10,000 to support projects with a minimum bid of £500.  Examples of relevant activities could include starting lunch clubs for the elderly, equipment for pre-schools, supporting intergenerational work with the community, activities to increase people’s general health and fitness etc.  If you think you may be eligible to apply, please contact Councillor Kath Wilson in the first instance on 475029 or kath.wilson@sky.com.  Applications needed before January 2013.
