East Coker Parish Council

As I am sure you are aware, we have a serious problem with the road at the triangle in North Coker due to a collapsed drain. This has been cordoned off with barriers at this time,  making it very difficult to get onto Burton Lane.   The council are currently telling us that there is no budget to fix this until

We do seem to be noticing more litter around the village. We would ask that if you come across some could you kindly pick it up (wearing gloves is advised) and bin it.   We live in a beautiful part of the country and it’s such a shame that we have to remove other people’s rubbish, but it certainly makes

As you may or may not know, lambing season is upon us. Please avoid crossing fields with sheep in them at this time if possible, but if you are approaching a field, using a permitted path, please make sure that dogs are on leads at all times.
