Our book swap at the bus stop is a little slice of magic, and it’s all thanks to the kindness of our 3 volunteers who keep the shelves tidy and curated for everyone to enjoy. The Parish Council would like to extend their sincere thanks to these dedicated individuals for their hard work.
To help them out, please remember that if the shelves are full, please don’t leave books on the benches.
As you know, we were granted planning permission to build a new Pavilion for the village last year. Works started in the summer and hopefully you have witnessed for yourselves the transformation and progress day by day. We are now nearing the final phase with the completion of the internal works and installation of the kitchen in February.
This building will be a wonderful venue for all the village to use with its new FA standard changing rooms, brand new modern kitchen and meeting/function room for events. It will be available for anyone to hire. We will continue to keep you updated over the coming weeks as we near completion.
