The road will be closed from 20th July – 24th July 2026 from 00.00 – 23.59 (5 days).

This will enable Wessex Water to replace communication pipe relay –

phased.

The contractor has indicated that access for Emergency Services

through the site  is not permitted on this occasion.

The order becomes effective on 22nd July 2026and will remain in force for eighteen months. The works are expected to commence on 31st July 2026 and last for 5 days to enable Openreach to carry out pole replacement works

Please be aware that we have received a notification of a TTRN (urgent) road closure at Main Street, East Coker  which will commence on 13th July 2026 – 17th July 2026 (00:00 – 23:59) for a total of 5 days.

This will enable Wessex Water to repair a leak.

Highways have just advised us that the road works at the triangle have been postponed.  We do not have a new date for the proposed works or road closure.
